Cyndi’s broad global and domestic industry experience enabled her to partner with business leaders to lead human resources functions, develop HR strategy and culture transformations, lead organizational change, increase employee engagement, identify and groom top talent, develop talent management programs, facilitate leadership development and guide governance planning.

Portia Portugal is a Senior Consultant with Más Talent, supporting the organization in project management and operations. Her leadership background in non-profit and philanthropy brings a community-focused lens to the Más team. She is an advocate for women’s rights and diversity, equity, and inclusion, and is passionate about helping organizations build their capacity for positive change.
Portia received her Bachelor of Arts in Global Studies from Arizona State University. She currently calls San Antonio, Texas home with her husband and children.
Tim Ryan is an accomplished leader with a career history of shaping strategic and operational initiatives across global organizations. He specializes in bridging strategy and implementation, leading cross-functional teams, building client relationships, and guiding business activities, including growth innovation, process improvements, and organizational transformation. With over 20 years of experience, Tim’s background in risk assessment, compliance management, finance, and operations inform his ability to streamline organizational goals from vision to process improvements. Tim holds a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Dallas and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Texas Woman’s University. Tim is proud to be an Army veteran, an advocate for the disability community, and a Wyoming native.
Daiquiri Ryan Mercado is General Counsel and Senior Consultant at Más Talent specializing in Civil Rights Law, Employment Law, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, and social impact storytelling. Her background in social justice, compliance, and peer coaching positions her as an asset to the Más Talent team. As an ambitious leader with expertise in narrative shaping, design, and business strategy, Daiquiri brings a new perspective to Human Resources needs of today and tomorrow.
Daiquiri received her Juris Doctorate from The George Washington University Law School and is licensed to practice law in the state of Texas. She also received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Media Relations from Arizona State University. A Texas native, Daiquiri currently lives in Washington, DC.

Miguel Joey Aviles served as the first civilian Chief of D&I in the history of the US Coast Guard. He started his career as diversity recruiter and for over a decade held several leadership positions in 3 major Federal Departments. Recognized as a one of LinkedIn’s 2022 Top 10 Voices in Racial Equity, Top 15 Champion of Diversity by Diversity Global Magazine, a Top 100 Executive by Diversity MBA Magazine, and featured as an Inclusion Innovator by SHRM. Miguel is a TEDx speaker, featured at the Washington Post, the Chicago Tribune, and Telemundo. Miguel is a graduate of Yale School of Management Fostering Inclusion and Diversity Certificate, and a certified Professional Diversity Coach.
Rachel Ball is a Senior Consultant at Más Talen. Rachel’s background includes over 20 years as an Operational Leader and Talent Manager with GEICO Insurance. She has an MBA in Risk Management and holds Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) and the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) Senior Certified Professional designations. Her areas of expertise include: Identifying talent, engaging employees, improving and sustaining high performance, grooming high potential talent, developing diversity & inclusion strategies and sales and customer service leadership.
Alberto Galué began his career in 1991 with Verizon Communications (formerly GTE) where he held several positions of increasing responsibility in the development and execution of strategies related to employee selection, assessment, succession management, and leadership development. Prior to joining Más, Alberto was the System Director – Talent Management at Baylor Scott & White Health, advising on market leading practices to identify and develop future leaders, as well as Manager of Global Leadership Development position at Texas Instruments, managing leadership assessment and development services for a global population of 30,000 employees.
Originally from Maracaibo, Venezuela, Alberto received his M.S. and Ph.D. in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Tulane University. He graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.A. degree in psychology and minor in French from Boston University.
Antionette (Toni) Freeman is a dynamic corporate executive with Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) experience encompassing commercial industry experience as a workforce change agent for private and public sector brands, inclusive of the Fortune 100 companies. Adept at providing organizations with comprehensive DEI strategy, the ability to inspire, educate and galvanize support for creating an inclusive culture. She is a champion who can influence change and positive behaviors across organizations and an astute communicator internally and externally on behalf of the organization. Toni is bold enough to question the status quo and hold leaders accountable for metrics and drive results without formal authority. Experienced leader who knows enough to pace change and focus on core priorities.
Hope Ryan is an aspiring Human Resources professional and provides HR Administrative and Generalist support to Más Talent clients. As an HR Generalist, Hope serves as a first point of contact to employees and as a strategic partner to leadership. Hope has responsibilities in employee benefits, compensation, payroll, HRIS, workplace safety, merger, acquisition, and integration, employee engagement and retention, and Inclusion areas. She works to implement HR strategies that align with business goals, enhance employee engagement, and promote a culture of continuous improvement. As a proactive problem solver and natural leader, she contributes to cross-functional projects and ensure key administrative functions are executed efficiently. Hope completed her undergraduate degree in Business at the Southern Methodist University in Dallas.
